Great Plains Lions Leadership Institute

 

 

FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN REFINING LEADERSHIP SKILLS

 

What:  Intensive professional, valuable leadership skills program for those who have not yet served as District Governor.  District 26-M5 will fund registration fee costs for up to five district attendees.  (Paid on a first come, first served basis.)

GREAT PLAINS LIONS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

Intensive, professional, valuable leadership skills program for those who have not yet served as District Governor. Skills for job, community, church, club and personal development.

July 25-27, 2014 Registration 9:00 a.m. to noon, Friday, July 25th. Adjournment and checkout by 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2014. NOTE: lunch on Friday, July 25th is at 12:00 Noon Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri

$150 (US-Funds) per attendee if received by the Registrar on or before May 31, 2014 covers double occupancy accommodations, 7 meals, all course materials and registration. Beginning June 1, 2014 cost increases to $170 per attendee. A limited number of single rooms are available for an additional $40 per attendee. We anticipate the remaining cost will be covered by Lions Clubs International funding and contributions from the participating multiple districts.

Any Lion, Lioness, Leo who has attained majority, who has not yet served as District Governor as of the dates of the institute is eligible. No previous attendee is eligible without prior approval of the Institute Coordinator, PID Leland Kolkmeyer.

This important institute is being sponsored by Multiple Districts 5 (Saskatchewan, North Dakota and South Dakota), 9 (Iowa), 17 (Kansas), 26 (Missouri), and 38 (Nebraska).

Included will be dynamic presenters from across the Great Plains providing emerging Lion leaders with training modules on communication skills, team building, delegation, management of change, conflict management, project management, diversity, motivation, public speaking and leading effective meetings.
